Lisa has over 15 years of experience working in children's mental health residential treatment, including Clinical Director of Pioneer Youth Services and House of Friendship addictions services.
Lisa is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation.
Lisa has been with Interfaith since 2010.


 


 

LESLIE ALLABY

Leslie has twenty years of clinical experience counselling couples, children, and individuals struggling with various mental health issues.
Specialized interest and training have focused on EMDR trauma therapy, co-parenting after separation/divorce, anxiety and grief.
Provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling and lunch and learn wellness presentations.
Is currently an Accreditation Reviewer with the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.
Leslie has been with Interfaith since 2014.


 


 

FIONA ROTH
 

FIONA ROTH 
MSW, RSW, CPT

Fiona has over 20 years of experience working with children/youth and their families. She is a certified Play Therapist through the Canadian Association of Play Therapy. She has also completed the Children and Youth Mental Health certificate through Wilfrid Laurier.
Fiona uses a range of therapeutic interventions that she has been trained in including Theraplay® (attachment therpay), CBT, solution-focussed therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. She specializes in treating child/adolescent mental health issues including attachment, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioural issues, autism, low self-esteem, life transitions and parenting coaching.
Fiona has been with Interfaith since 2012.


 


 

ABBY BECKS
 

ABBY BECKS 
MSW, RSW

Abby specializes in addictions and mental health concerns including anxiety and depression, as well as self-harm and eating disorders.
Has worked in harm reduction programs for individuals with addictions since 2010 with House of Friendship and Sanguen Health Centre in Waterloo.
She works with teens and adults from a client-driven, strengths-based philosophy. She has a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Level 1) as well as training in Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples.
Abby has been with Interfaith since 2014


 


 

MATTHEW ISERT BENDER
 

MATTHEW ISERT BENDER 
MSW, RSW, MTS

Provides counselling at the local elementary schools, facilitates the Boys R Us groups and the Beyond I Do workshop.
Specializes in narrative work, cognitive behavioural therapy, attachment and play therapy.
Has a love for the community, and believes that a healthy community is made up of healthy individuals and families. He finds it is a joy to walk with people during the transitions and struggles of life as they seek wholeness and wellness.
Matthew has been with Interfaith since 2003.

Christine provides guidance and support to people going through a number of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, anger, separation issues.
She specializes in various therapies including CBT and DBT, Strengths based and Solution Focused therapy.
Christine has been with Interfaith since 2017

Amy Krug

Amy has over 15 years experience in many different sectors from children to elderly individuals. She has extensive clinical experience working with mental health, trauma, wellness, mindfulness, and yoga. 
She has training and specializes in yoga therapy, DBT, CBT, mindfulness based interventions, narrative therapy and person centered therapy. Amy works from a strengths based perspective honouring the whole person. She enjoys supporting individuals through their life journey and transitions
