The following options are different methods and subsidies available at our agency. If you are unsure if you qualify for any of the listed options, please contact the office and our staff will be happy to explore all options to determine your eligibility.

Services can be accessed by calling the office directly. At this time, initial contact information and reasons for seeking counselling will be gathered to help us connect you to the appropriate professional. A funding assessment will also take place in order to determine if you qualify for additional subsidies as needed. If subsidies are not applicable a fee for service amount will be determined. Everyone seeking services will be accommodated.

Health Connect Counselling Partners is a group of six mental health counselling agencies that have come together to deliver a broad range of mental health services. To be eligible for counselling services under the Health Connect Program your family physician must be enrolled as a Health Connect Partner and make a referral to this program. To find out if your doctor is connected with this program, please speak to your physician or contact our office at 519 662-3092 x101.

We provide counselling for a number of internal and external Employee Assistance Programs.

We are affiliated with the following Employee Assistance Program providers: Solareh, Homewood Human Solutions, Shepell.fgi., and Arete. If your benefit provider utilitzes these EAP’s services, you can request a referral to Interfaith Community Centre.

We value the EAP partnerships we have with the following local businesses: Tri-County Mennonite Homes, Nachurs Alpine Solutions Inc., Alloy Castings Industries, Ontario Drive and Gear, peopleCare Stratford, peopleCare Tavistock, and Erb Group of Companies.

If your EAP provider is not listed here and you would like us to inquire about affiliation, please contact us with details.

Through partnership with the local school board(s), individual and group counselling services may be provided on-site in consultation with the school personnel.

We are currently supported to provide services at the following schools. Waterloo Oxford District Secondary School, Baden Public School, Sir Adam Beck Public School, Forest Glen Public School, Grandview Public School, and Holy Family Catholic School.

Is a community-based partnership between the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and seven United Way member agencies to ensure that you have access to the counselling service you need. If you are receiving support through Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program you are eligible to participate and receive counselling free of charge.

The Community Outreach program is a community based program created to prevent and reduce the depth of childhood poverty in Waterloo Region. Through partnership with the Wilmot Family Resource Centre individual or families with financial constraints can apply for a subsidy for counselling services. Click here.
